DAY 6 – Prayers for Their Future
“The future is bright” is a phrase I’ve heard so much. But, who can tell what awaits us in this future?
As human beings, we can project and predict. Some of these projections may turn out true or false. However, there is someone who knows what tomorrow holds and even though we do not know what tomorrow holds, we know who holds tomorrow.
I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. Jeremiah 29:11 MSG
Today, we would be praying for the future of our children.

Lord we pray for everyone who needs your embrace at this difficult time. Especially moms who are crying over their children that have passed on. We pray for them that they are embraced in the comfort of your Holy Spirit. Oh Lord, be with them, comfort their hearts, give them reasons to draw even closer to you at this time. Lord there will be questions. We pray your presence overwhelms them. It is in Jesus Name we pray. Amen!
At some point in life, our children will begin their educational journey. Some will end up in business, some will end up in the coporate world. Some also may go into ministry doing the work of the Lord fulltime.
As moms, I am sure we already have like a desire somewhat regarding what we want our children to be. I believe that one of them which we can all agree on is that, we want them to be excellent, prosperous and successful.
We know of Joseph, Solomon, Daniel, the Hebrew boys and even our Lord Jesus. They were a force to be reckoned with when it came to knowledge, wisdom and understanding. So today we will praying for our children’s education.

DAY 4 – Prayers for Friendships
Friends play a key and important role in our lives as human beings. We see how important this type of relationship is even in scriptures. God called Abraham a friend. Jesus called his disciples friends too.
What stands out to me is that friends don’t hide things from each other. This we see demonstrated by God Himself when He said he couldn’t hide from his friend Abraham his plan to destroy Soddom and Gomorrah.
Our children’s friends can make them or destroy them. The influence they have in their lives is greater if not more than those we have over them. Knowing this should not scare us but lead us to a place of prayer for God to first of all make our children a friend of the Holy Spirit.

- Lord, you told us in your word that bad campany corrupts good character. I pray that you will put [child/ren’s name] in the company of good people. People who will not corrupt the good character you are helping me develop in them. I pray that wherever they find themselves, they are always in good company. If they find themselves in the company of one or two bad people, I pray that their good and godly chaacter will be a force of influence for good in Jesus Name.
- Dear Lord, I order from Heaven, friends for [child/ren’s name] whose parents love you, fear you and are influencing their children in righteousness. I pray Lord that you will allow to cross paths with [child/ren’s name] children who will be of godly influence to them. I pray that the friends around [child/ren’s name] are those that when the need arises, offer godly advices to [child/ren’s name] in Jesus Name.
- Lord, you said in your word that two people are better than one. I pray you bring atleast one friend into [child/ren’s name]’s life who can and will stand back-to-back, who will reach out and help in time of trouble. A friend who will pray with them, study the Bible with them and encourage them to grow in Christ, in Jesus Name.
- Lord, I pray that [child/ren’s name] will be in the company of wise friends. You said in your word that if [child/ren’s name] walks with the wise, they would become wise. I pray that [child/ren’s name] will not be associated with foolish friends and he/she will not see trouble in Jesus Name.
- Lord, I pray that [child/ren’s name] will not be caught up in friendship with an angry person. I pray [child/ren’s name] will cut ties with friends who are hot tempered and out of control. I pray that you will screen [child/ren’s name]’s friends and put a discomfort in them whenever they ae around friends that will cause them trouble, put them in trouble or influence them negatively in Jesus Name.

- Lord, make [child/ren’s name] a friend that doesn’t destroy but one who stickes closer than a brother. I pray that you will also bring into [child/ren’s name]’s life, a friend that sticks closer than a brother in Jesus name.
Thanks for joining in today, Let’s pray again tomorrow.
God bless you.
DAY 3 – Prayers for Healing
Praying for our children when they are ill is something that I want to believe we all always do even if we haven’t prayed in a long time. Especially when you have a new born baby or toddler that can’t speak or tell you exactly where it hurts.
I’ve been there and I can remember just praying and trusting God to guide the doctors. Even as we began this challenge, right on the first day, I had to pray for healing for my daughter. Praise God she is well and fine now.
The health of our children is so important. When they are well, they can do many things, pursue their dreams and even more follow Christ and serve him. Today, we would be visiting their health and praying about it.

So Lord, I rely on the promise of your word that healing remains our daily bread. Everyday [Child/ren’s name] wakes up, he/she feeds on it and goes about their day in health in Jesus Name.
- Lord, I pray that [Child/ren’s name] will listen carefully to your voice regarding what to eat and not to eat. I pray that even when the pressure to not care about what he/she eats seems to overwhelming, [Child/ren’s name] is reminded that his/her body is your temple and that [Child/ren’s name] has been bought with a prize. I pray that by this, they will not put into their body, anything that will cause sickness and diseases in Jesus Name.
- Lord, I pray that when [Child/ren’s name] comes to you in faith for healing upon their body, you will hear and heal [Child/ren’s name]. You said that if we obey you and do what is right in your eyes, the sicknesses of the Egyptians will not come on us. I pray [Child/ren’s name] will always do what is right in your eyes, listen to you carefully and obey you with all their heart in Jesus Name.
- Lord, I pray that at anytime we may need to go to the hospital, you will station covenant doctors, nurses, specialists on call for us. - Lord, by your stripes we are healed. The beatings you got brought to us wholeness. I declare over [Child/ren’s name] that whatever discomfort they are experiencing in their body is replaced with wholeness and whatever illness looking to show up or has already shown up is met with the stripes that brings healing in Jeus Name.
Lord I pray that even when the healing isn’t in sight, you will give me grace to trust you to heal my child in Jesus name.
I hope you have taken time to pray and let’s pray again tomorrow.
God bless you.
DAY 2 – Prayer for Their Spiritual Life
I want to believe that like me, one of your greatest heart desire is for your child to know the Lord, love him with all their heart and walk in his commands all the days of their life.
I, like many of you reading this, wants my child to have an experiential knowledge of God. I want my children to be talking to Jesus everyday of their life.
Today we would be visiting the area of their Spiritual life.
Songs of the day:
Scriptural Meditation: Proverbs 22:6, Psalm 16:8, 3 John 1:4, 2 Thessalonians 3:3, Matthew 17:20, 1 Corinthians 7:7, Isaiah 26:3, Deuteronomy 6:7, Romans 12:1; 10:17
Prayers
- Lord I pray that you will help me teach [Child/ren’s name] about you. You have said in your word that we repeat your commands again and again to our children. Help me Lord to talk about you to [Child/ren’s name] at home, on the road, at bedtime and at waking up; so that lord, they will remember your commands all the days of their life in Jesus Name I pray.

I pray that nothing will come in between you and [Child/ren’s name]. Anywhere or anything you do not allow or approve of, [Child/ren’s name] will not go to or do. Make [Child/ren’s name] a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to you in Jesus Name I pray.
- Lord I pray that [Child/ren’s name]’s relationship with you supercedes all, including mine such that they have a strong faith in you. Plant the seeds everyday [Child/ren’s name] reads, hears or comes in general contact with your word. Lord let [Child/ren’s name]’s faith in you be unwavering. Instead, let it grow stronger and stronger each day in Jesus Name I pray.
- Lord I pray that [Child/ren’s name] will always walk in ways and do things that makes you happy and proud. Whether I am there or not, let their behaviour and attitude towards others be one that shows forth your glory, tells others about you and also leads them to you in Jesus Name I pray.
- Dear Lord, I pray that you will give [Child/ren’s name] dominion over sin through the help of your Holy Spirit. As they live in this world filled with moral decadness at every corner, I pray that sinning will be alien to [Child/ren’s name]. Let a deep hunger and thirst for godly things overtake their desire to do bad. Let them be reminded in their spirit man that they are the temple of God and that nothing sinful can stay in [Child/ren’s name] in Jesus Name I pray.
- Lord, you have told us in your word that temptation is common to man, and that you will not allow us to be faced with a temptation we cannot overcome. I pray you will not lead [Child/ren’s name] into temptation but you will deliver [Child/ren’s name] from all evil in Jesus Name I pray.
- Lord, you told me also in your word that the children you have given to me are for signs and wonders. I pray that [Child/ren’s name] will continually be a sign and wonder for you in this land. I pray that [Child/ren’s name] will always be taught by you. I pray that [Child/ren’s name] will see visions and you will always reveal yourself to him/her in Jesus Name I pray.
Thanks for joining in today. Let’s pray again tomorrow.
God bless you.
DAY 1 – Prayer of Gratitude
Welcome to the first day of the first edition of this challenge.
Drum rolls…
First of all, Congratulations to you and to you and to you. Whether you are a biological mom, adopted mom, a mom-aunty, a “mom-in-Isreal” and on; I say to you, God has called you to participate in something bigger than you but easy with Him.
I believe you can still remember when you first became a mom. How was it? For me, it was surreal. I had post-partum anxiety. I gave myself sleepless nights aside the one the presence of a baby brought. I was emotional for no reason. But, one thing I did unconsciously was pray for my child all day. When I was breastfeeding, I was praying. When I was cooking, I found myself praying. I know I’ve prayed for my children ever since they arrived.
Today, we would be offering up to God, prayers of gratitude for calling us to become Moms.
