Day 10 – Securing our gates.

Welcome to Day 10 of this challenge. A Christian family is like a house located within a fenced property. If you do not have someone by the gate to allow and disallow entry, anyone can come in whenever they feel like. With advanced technology, now you can remotely control gates to allow and disallow entry. You can plant a camera within and outside your property to see all what is happening around you. Now taking it back to the reason for our prayer today. We would be praying for our husbands, that they will not fall asleep at their security post. That they would not be too tired to man the gates that they leave them open.

Scriptural Thoughts : Psalm 91:1-16, Isaiah 39:8, Job 11:18, Habakkuk 2:1

Prayer Points

  • Prayer of thanksgiving
  • I pray for you my husband that you will be alert in your spirit to know when to rise to pray and when to sleep. When the enemy is trying to gain entrance into our home, I remove sleep from you and position you on your knees to send the forces of heaven to fight on our behalf.
  • I pray for you my husband that whatever it is that will make you incapable of performing your duties of securing our gates, the Lord reveal to you and give you notice in advance so you will be prepared.
  • I pray for you my husband that sickness, worry, fear and tiredness will not come upon you that would make you sleep and leave the door open. I position you strong in the presence of the Lord to receive all the reinforcement you need to guard our gates securely.
  • Many times the enemy will come in form of friends and families and you may want to just open unto them. Today, I open your spiritual eyes to see who is at the gate and to differentiate who truly is to be allowed in and who is not to.
  • As the Holy Spirit monitors our surroundings, I pray for you my husband that you will be sensitive to his instructions of what and what to do, where to be, and who to open to and who not to.
  • Because the Lord is with you at the gates, we will enjoy Peace and Safety till the Lord returns.

All these I have prayed in Jesus Name. Amen.

God bless you.

Day 9 – Permission to be inspired

Today we are praying about contentment. The urge to always have more and more and more has led many to a life of greed. Another reason is when one has had enjoyed the beauty of plenty and does not want to ever be in a position to ask for help. Another reason, simply put is covetousness. Our husbands through God’s help must lead a life of contentment.

Scriptural Thoughts: Matthew 6:32-33, 1 Timothy 6:6-7, Philippians 4:12-13

Prayer points:

  • Prayer of thanksgiving
  • Father I pray for my husband today that he will be content with what you have in store for him. I reject every spirit of greed.
  • My dear husband, as God has chosen to bless you, I pray for you today that you will be content with all that He has given you.
  • I decree over you that the want for more and more and more and more will not cost you your relationship with God and your family. I receive for you a thankful heart and a thankful mouth.
  • I believe the report of the Lord to supply all of your needs and I pray for you that you will learn to be content and the want for more will not lead you to do as it shouldn’t be mentioned of a child of God.
  • I blindfold you from beholding anything that would spark up the fire of covetousness in you. I ask that you will continually behold all that the Lord has blessed you with be thankful.
  • Father do not put my husband in a position where he would want to look out of your will or power to provide for him. When challenges arise, visit him with the assurance of you word to supply all his needs with all your abundant wealth through Christ Jesus
  • I give the Lord express permission to let you behold that which would inspire you and push you to succeed and in your pursuit of success, contentment would be your partner.

All these, I have asked in Jesus Name. Amen.

God bless you.

Day 8 – Remaining in God’s favor

Today, I had something else penned down for us to pray about and confess but the Lord desires that we deal with pride. Pride is a deadly disease that can kill a man faster than that anything. The problem with pride is that it can visit anyone. Rich poor, big and small. Today let’s lift our husbands up in prayer that the Lord plant within them humility.

Scriptural Thoughts: James 4:6, Ephesians 4:2

Prayer Points

  • Prayer of thanksgiving
  • I pray for you my husband that the spirit that goes about and makes people believe they have arrived will not find a dwelling place in you.
  • I pray for you my husband that whatever it is that gets into a man and makes him no longer listen to advice even from his wife will not get in to you because you will listen to godly advice.
  • When you have all the blessings of the Lord to live a comfortable life in this world, you will not look down on me or anyone. You will seek to pull people up and bless them too.
  • I pray for you my husband that when the book of remembrance is opened to you, you will remember that I have been praying for you and you will not see me as an enemy.

All these I have prayed in Jesus Name.

Tomorrow we pray for contentment.

God bless you.

Day 7 – More wants met

Praise God it’s Day 7. Today we are praying for money. Our needs and wants will always be there but one thing we know is that our needs are supplied by God. No matter how much a woman earns, a godly man would want to earn more not for competitive reasons but to be able to meet the needs of his family. No matter how little a man earns he has a sense of pride when he can provide. So today we would be receiving money from all quarters of the earth for our husbands.

Scriptural Thoughts: 1 Timothy 4:7-8, Ecclesiastes 5:18-19, Genesis 26:12-13

Prayer Points

  • Prayer of thanksgiving
  • My dear husband, I open upon you the heavens and rain the blessings of physical money upon you. As you work hard to provide for us. I pray for you today that you are paid what is due you and more.
  • I pray for you my husband, that you will not be unable to meet our needs. Rather you will meet our needs and provide for our wants as well
  • All that you need money to do (Name it), I send to you people who will meet them. I send people who will bless you financially as well
  • I pray God gives you ideas that will bring about more people paying for it and hence provide enough money to settle the wants of every family member
  • I call forth every money from the east, west, north and south. I decree today that everyone owing you begins to settle you with interest.
  • I pray for you my husband that as this monies begin to come in, you will have insight into how to invest them. I receive wisdom for you as regards the right business to do
  • Go ahead and pray about the things you need money for in the family.
  • Tell the Lord how much you want your husband to always have. Pray about his salary.
  • Pray as led

Our prayers are answered in Jesus Name. Amen.

God bless you.

Day 6 – Patience over impulsiveness

Welcome to Day 6 of this prayer challenge.

Today we will be praying for a VERY important area that many times are overlooked. The reason so many people have some challenges is because of actions that were done impulsively. How many women and children suffer the consequences of their husband’s actions simply because he didn’t think it through. Naturally men are not one to make decisions in a haste. They are the more thoughtful ones as compared to the woman. So today, we would be stopping them from making vows that they would not fulfil. Stopping them from taking actions that they’ll regret and wished they never did.

Scriptural thoughts: Ecclesiastes 5:4-7, Numbers 30:2, Deuteronomy 23:21-23

Prayer Points:

  • Prayer of thanksgiving
  • I pray for you my husband that the spirit of patience and thoughtfulness rests upon you. I am aware that there are challenges that can sometimes make you make a vow to the Lord that you cannot fulfil; but today I am asking for mercy where such has occurred and I pray for a thoughtful spirit to avoid such from happening again.
  • In pursuit of success and prosperity, many opportunities will come around – good and bad. I pray for you my husband that you will be patient in making any decision or taking any action. You will not run ahead of the Lord, but you will let him lead and you follow.
  • My dear husband, in your thinking time, I ask that the Lord speaks to you showing you if what is before you is good for you or would destroy you. I pray that you will not be stubborn to heed but be obedient and escape destruction that waits at the end.
  • I pray for you my husband that your decisions and actions will not cost us our joy and peace but bring about joy and peace if lacking, and increase our joy and peace where present.
  • The Lord releases upon you today a patient and thoughtful spirit and sends destructive impulsiveness far from you.

All these I have prayed and declared in Jesus Name. Amen.

God bless you.

Day 5 – No limits

We are here on Day 5. God has indeed been good to us. Many husbands are limited as a result of things they know nothing about and some others by their actions or words. Today we will be lifting up all those limitations through the power we have in Jesus Christ. We would be setting them free. You pray for your husband because his deliverance is your deliverance.

Scriptural Thoughts: 1 Chronicles 4:9,10

Prayer Points

  • Prayer of thanksgiving.
  • I pray for you my husband that whatever you have done innocently that has brought a limitation upon you receives the touch of God’s mercy.
  • I receive mercy on your behalf for your actions and words that has gone out carelessly and would bring about limitation.
  • I ask for you my husband that the Lord enlarges you and bless you with more of all the goodness of heaven.
  • I through the blood of Jesus purge you of every thing that’s stuck to you that will bring about a limitation in the future.
  • From today onwards, you live life beautiful and without limits.

All these I have asked in Jesus Name. Amen.

God bless you.

Day 4 – The book of remembrance is opened.

Today we would be going further in this challenge and this time around we would be opening a book of remembrance for our husbands. The story of Joseph is one that speaks to us. Joseph helped interpret the dreams of two fellow prisoners and he asked that he be remembered but alas he was forgotten. When his said time was come, he was remembered. And the position he got was higher than the man who didn’t remember him earlier. Position your husbands to be remembered and let the remembrance bring with it promotions.

Scriptural Thoughts: Genesis 40:12-41:44.

Prayer points

  • Prayer of thanksgiving.
  • My husband, I bring your case before the Lord and I ask that the Lord this day open a book of remembrance for you and bless you.
  • Just like Joseph was remembered by the cup bearer and connected to Pharaoh, I decree over you that even the little you have done is remembered and you are connected to those who God has planted on your way. When you look to the East, West, North and South; there you will find help even before you ask in Jesus Name.
  • Father, just like the case of Mordechai, I ask that you take sleep away from those who are to remember my husband this day. Take sleep from them Lord and let my husband’s name begin to ring like an alarm in their subconscious in the name of Jesus.
  • I send forth missiles of helpers to you my husband. I ask that they hit you from all sides. That man/woman who is to mention your name at that meeting or that man/woman who has to sign those documents for your recommendation will do and not hold back because today I decree that you are remembered.
  • Dear Lord, plant my husband where it is you have reserved for him. Let those who once said no or even forgot him begin to say yes and remember him.
  • My dear husband, you are getting to the highest heights, you are making new ways, you are leaving your prints in the sand of time because on this day, you are remembered by the Lord.

All these I have prayed and declared in the name of Jesus. Amen.

God bless you.

Day 3 – Your body, God’s temple.

It’s the third day of this Prayer challenge and we are thankful to God because our prayers are answered. Make sure that at this time, your heart is free from any form of heaviness, bitterness and anger. Don’t give the devil a chance to win.

Scriptural Thoughts: 3 John 1:2, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, Exodus 15:26, Deuteronomy 7:11-15

Prayer Points

  • Father I thank you because you always hear me and is never tired of answering my requests. I thank you because you have given me your promises in your word and that is what I accept, believe and confess today and always. I thank you for my husband who you have given me to be his wife. Today I pray for his physical body and I say, “It is WELL with you my husband.”
  • I pray for you my husband that you will take care of your body because you are not your own. You are the temple of God and God’s temple is healthy, smells nice and is beautiful. Junk food has no place in your body, I release a bitter taste to your tongue so that whatever will not benefit your health, you will not be able to eat.
  • I put upon you through the Holy Spirit a conscious action to always ensure that you do your part faithfully toward leading a healthy life. As God has decreed to keep you free from diseases, you will not go and get them upon yourself with your own hands.
  • Whoever had proposed or is proposing to make you sick in your body, thereby rendering you incapable, I decree that the Almighty God returns it back on them and give them no peace.
  • You are a child of God and I decree that the Balm of Gilead will speak for you every second of your life. Sickness is far from you and all that’s yours.
  • Where it is that you have made unhealthy choice, I ask that the Lord have mercy and correct all of them. I pray for you today that you will know when to rest, when to eat, and when to ask for help.
  • I decree over you my husband that you are healed of every sickness now and for those that may want to come out in the future from the crown of your head to the sole of your foot.

All these I have asked in Jesus Name. Amen.

Father I pray for everyone who is sick at this time, I release your healing power on each and everyone of them in Jesus Name. Every man, every woman, every boy and every girl who needs your touch today receives it in Jesus Name. I decree that those who are on their sick beds in their homes or in the hospital you go in and turn their cases around for good in Jesus Name I pray for those who have received your touch, Father perfect their healing, nothing broken, nothing missing is what we ask of you Lord. We ask that anything that needs to be fixed be replaced with new in Jesus Name. Amen.

God bless you.
