#FromScriptures – Beautiful Life Lessons (Genesis 40:1 – 41:46 NCV)

This story is one I want to title, “In His Time.” Now there is a time for everything under heaven as recorded in Ecclesiates chapter 3. For everyone of us, there is also a “TIME.”

Now while Joseph was in prison, two high ranking officials just so happened to offend their boss – Pharaoh – and were also thrown into prison. These officials became prison mates with Joseph but because of their ranks, Joseph had to be at their service while in prison. On this beautiful morning, Joseph woke up and got ready to resume his daily responsibility of service to these two men when he noticed that they were all moody and gloomy. “What’s the trouble?” Joseph asked and they shared their dreams with him which he went on to interpret to them. After this, Joseph requested that he be remembered when they go out of prison but alas he was forgotten.

Then two years passed by.

9 Then the chief officer who served wine to the king said to him, “Now I remember something I promised to do, but I forgot about it. 10 There was a time when you were angry with the baker and me, and you put us in prison in the house of the captain of the guard. 11 In prison we each had a dream on the same night, and each dream had a different meaning. 12 A young Hebrew man, a servant of the captain of the guard, was in the prison with us. When we told him our dreams, he explained their meanings to us. He told each man the meaning of his dream, and 13 things happened exactly as he said they would: I was given back my old position, and the baker was hanged.”

Many times, we come around people who we have done one good or another for; and we as humans would expect that in our time of need, these people would be the first to remember us. It may not always be so; and we may lose hope of even go about telling people of the good we did and how the person who this good was done to had abandoned us, in the end attracting a huge pity party.

There is no record in scriptures of Joseph doing such. He went on living each day in the prison. Then the TIME came. Yes it came and this time, he who forgot remembered.

As long as we live here on earth, people will cross our path. Some will even become part of our lives and some will just pass by, staying for only a short while. Some will help us, some we will help. Whichever role we play, let’s do it out of love, expecting nothing in return because when the TIME comes, they would be instrumental in one way or another for our good.

Joseph had moved on. But God hadn’t moved on. He had plans and not just small ones. I often imagine, (I do have a huge imaginative mind) “What if Joseph had been remembered immediately the chief officer was out of prison? Maybe Joseph would have gone back to Potiphar’s house again and be thrown again into prison.” Then I imagine again, “if he had not gone to Potiphar, he may have ended up a slave in Pharaoh’s palace.” But the interesting thing is this, when it will be his TIME, irrespective of where he is, he will be remembered and that for good.

14 So the king called for Joseph. The guards quickly brought him out of the prison, and he shaved, put on clean clothes, and went before the king. 15 The king said to Joseph, “I have had a dream, but no one can explain its meaning to me. I have heard that you can explain a dream when someone tells it to you.”

Here, I look up and shout, “THIS GOD!!!” (I am sure some of you are like me that just shout out of excitement when you get a revelation or rhema. Yes I just look up, smile and point at God and shake my head in approval and joy. Then I say “Thank you.”)

Joseph was called before the king and based on recommendation, the king told him all his dreams.

“I pray that those who are mean’t to remember you would not just remember you, but recommend you based on a 5-Star review in Jesus Name. Amen.”

25 Then Joseph said to the king, “Both of these dreams mean the same thing. God is telling you what he is about to do.
33 “So let the king choose a man who is very wise and understanding and set him over the land of Egypt.

Can you see the humility of Joseph still shining through even after time in prison? Many of us (myself included) would have immediately put forth our CV/Resume before the King for this appointment but not Joseph. He once again helped and this time, expecting nothing in return. (Sure he had learned his lesson – to help, expecting nothing in return)

37 This seemed like a very good idea to the king, and all his officers agreed. 38 And the king asked them, “Can we find a better man than Joseph to take this job? God’s spirit is truly in him!” 39 So the king said to Joseph, “God has shown you all this. There is no one as wise and understanding as you are, so 40 I will put you in charge of my palace. All the people will obey your orders, and only I will be greater than you.” 41 Then the king said to Joseph, “Look! I have put you in charge of all the land of Egypt.”

44 The king said to him, “I am the king, and I say that no one in all the land of Egypt may lift a hand or a foot without your permission.”

Joseph ended up as the Prime Minister. A position higher than his former boss. A position higher than the man whose memory God rebooted when it was TIME. Even though the King was number 1, Joseph’s approval was number 1.

So beautiful, “have you learned anything from Joseph yet?”

“Do you still want to stay angry at those you helped on life’s way who – in their human nature – has forgotten you, some unintentionally?”

“Will you rely on God’s TIME for you or that of man and society?”

Just before you begin to compare the “free time” others are currently enjoying with the “prison time” you are facing (or as I like to call it, “Learning time”), understand that there is a TIME. Don’t rush to graduate from this time. Learn, learn and come out with 5 stars reviews that attract only high ranking recommendations.

Just before I rest my fingers, read this:

46Joseph was thirty years old when he began serving the king of Egypt. And he left the king’s court and traveled through all the land of Egypt.

God will glorify Himself in your life irrespective of the age as which you begin to bloom. Wasted time in the past? Don’t regret just yet, plan and begin to learn now.

P.S. Just like you learn for some years before you graduate, in the school of life and time, there are things you need to learn before you move to the next big stage. How long you stay there is dependent on you. Some spend less time, some spend more time. Ask for strength and help from the Lord to stay focused during your training period so you can move to your next big phase in record time.

Thank you for reading, I’ll love to read your comments, feedback and answer some of your questions.

#FromScriptures – Beautiful Life Lessons (2 Kings 4:1-7)

This story is one that I am so sure, we have read plenty of times

One day the wife of a man from the guild of prophets called out to Elisha, “Your servant my husband is dead. You well know what a good man he was, devoted to God. And now the man to whom he was in debt is on his way to collect by taking my two children as slaves.”

As we walk this earth, meeting different people and making new or renewing old companies, we must ensure we have a good report. Let people know what you stand for, where you stand and what you believe. This widow knew her husband was a good man and Prophet Elisha knew it too. You are always good in your own eyes, so work towards been good in the eyes of others such that they can attest to it.

Lest I forget, when the debt collector came to this woman, she called out to Elisha first. It wasn’t recorded that she sought for help from others before the prophet. She went to him first. “How many times have we run to God first with our problems?” So many of us see God as our last option when indeed he should be our first.

Elisha said, “I wonder how I can be of help. Tell me, what do you have in your house?”

“Nothing,” she said. “Well, I do have a little oil.”

Sometimes, that which you have can be easily interpreted as nothing but you must understand that you must have something, no matter how insignificant it is. When God created us, he gave us something. He didn’t send us to earth an empty fellow. This you can see from the life of the first man – Adam. God didn’t tell him to call goat “goat.” He knew to call it so when he was given the job to name every animal which he did.

So to get somethings in life, you must have something. This could be training, knowledge or even an idea. Don’t think that because what you have, doesn’t look like what the other person has; that it is nothing. It in fact is something.

3-4 “Here’s what you do,” said Elisha. “Go up and down the street and borrow jugs and bowls from all your neighbors. And not just a few—all you can get. Then come home and lock the door behind you, you and your sons. Pour oil into each container; when each is full, set it aside.”

In life, we must have good interpersonal relationships or as my Dad says it, “you must have good neighborliness.” If this woman was fighting with all her neighbors or treats them as though she is better than them or holier than them, would they have borrowed her their jugs? We must build beautiful relationships with our neighbors, at home and at work and everywhere. You never know whose help you will need tomorrow.

5-6 She did what he said. She locked the door behind her and her sons; as they brought the containers to her, she filled them. When all the jugs and bowls were full, she said to one of her sons, “Another jug, please.”

He said, “That’s it. There are no more jugs.” Then the oil stopped.

Now she was to do this miracle behind closed doors with her children inside too. Sometimes we just want to shout when we have an inkling that something good is about to come our way. But there are things that have to be prepared behind closed door. Not every preparation is for public consumption. No every miracle is meant to happen in public. Like the miracle of conception. You don’t see it happen, all you see is a pregnant woman. Now sometimes, you will have to carry members of your household along. The sons, if left outside could have been telling people what was happening. But they needed to be a part of the miracle, so they were inside too. Learning to tell family members to know when to keep their mouth shut in matters that are meant to be private is something that we must bare in mind as well.

She went and told the story to the man of God. He said, “Go sell the oil and make good on your debts. Live, both you and your sons, on what’s left.”

One thing I love about this woman is that, after filling the available jars with olive oil. She went back to Elisha for the next instruction. “How many times have we gone on to do what we think we should do without getting the full instruction about an assignment?” Getting the full instruction about a thing makes the job easy to do. We must always make sure that we get all information we need. Assumptions can be misleading and costly.

In conclusion, Let God be your first option. Remember that instructions for every phase of our lives doesn’t come all at once to avoid mix-ups. Be sure to always check and ask for the next step after finishing the previous one. Also, for God to take us from point A to C, D, E, or Z; we must have something to contribute. God works with us as a team player even while leading. So ask yourself today;

  • What do I have to contribute?
  • What kind of report or testimony do I have?
  • How good a neighbor am I?
  • Can I follow instructions?
  • Am I willing to ask for more information?
  • Is God my first option or last resort?

I pray that God helps us to apply these lessons and more as we walk this beautiful space on earth. I pray we will always run to Him as our first option and not last.

Thank you for reading, I’ll love to read your comments, feedback and answer some of your questions.

Blessings.

#FromScriptures – Beautiful Life Lessons (Introduction)

The bible is more than just a book we read on Sunday or during church programs. It is one that holds within its pages, steps, guidelines, instructions, knowledge and great information.

Like so many of you, growing up, we always had morning devotions. Sometimes, Dad would say we should share a lesson from the whole passage or the verses each of us read. Sometimes, it was difficult to look for the lessons especially when your eyes is half open and all you did was to read it fast so that you can get back to dozing. Many a times, my sisters and I would stay on that verse, heads bent down or bible brought to face and eyes looking with all concentration but no words. Dad would just have to explain by himself and once again, Dad shares Rhema that you will never ever forget.

Morning devotions with Dad are memories that I will never forget. Sometimes I wonder, how does Dad know all these? Study of the bible over and over again I believe, but its so much more than that. Now as I have the opportunity to find God within the pages of the bible everyday, sometimes like those mornings, I am speechless – the words to describe what I just read disappears and I am uttering sounds like, Hmmmm! Uhmmm! Wow!!! okay wow is a word.

Through the month of May as the Holy Spirit helps me, I will be sharing from Stories in the Old testament and how we can apply lessons from them to our lives to remain beautiful or become beautiful. Everything we need to know about every area of our lives is within the pages of the bible. That I have come to discover.

Now, beautiful here, has nothing to do with your looks or your figures, rather, it has everything to do with your mind, your thoughts, your life behind closed doors away from the public eye. In a world where there is always something posted online – some true and some false – we must be careful not to think we have become the most beautiful person ever because looking in the mirror by ourselves, we will see what our mind wants us to see, but looking through the eyes of others, we would see where we need to adjust.

I am sure you have heard that majority of what we manifest can be linked to the content of our hearts. While, we may have people who can pretend to be someone or something else; like an actor who doesn’t act forever, it won’t be long before you see what you have never seen before. But God created us so beautiful. Even though the sin of man tainted this beauty, the precious blood of Jesus washes away all spots and stains and restores us to the beautiful human, He and His Father created.

“Those who look to God will shine;their faces are never ashamed.” Psalm 34:5 (Common English Bible)

God created human beings; he created them godlike, Reflecting God’s nature. He created them male and female.” Genesis 1:27 (The Message)

For this series, invite your friends and loved ones, share the link to posts and please comment. I love feedback. Let’s lift one another up and look to always live Christlike.

Replace Husbands with People, friends or family members.

“There are husbands who, indifferent as they are to any words about God, will be captivated by your life of holy beauty. What matters is not your outer appearance—the styling of your hair, the jewelry you wear, the cut of your clothes—but your inner disposition. Cultivate inner beauty, the gentle, gracious kind that God delights in.” 1 Peter 3:2-4 (The message)

As a Mom, it’s okay to make your own rules and follow them.

Do you know that look people give you when you tell them you haven’t done something that almost everyone has? Uhmmm…Yes!!! That one!

I usually get those looks when ever I say my children don’t eat candy or don’t eat noodles. Or that I haven’t use seasoning cubes to cook in almost 8 years. Or is it the look I get when someone visits my house and asks for sugar and I don’t have any. (Hehehe, I’m sure you are giving me the look as well as you read this. Haha) It’s always as though I am from another planet and it really makes me wonder why it should sound strange to people. It’s my home and I make the rules (don’t worry, dearest boyfriend sure makes the rules but you know there are those ones that are made by mom)

As a new mom 3 years ago, I unconsciously created some rules and one way or another, I just found myself following through on it. Even when the process of staying committed to the rules were hard and I just wanted the easy way out.

One of the rules was ensuring my children and entire family eat healthy. I am a believer in the school of thought – “You are what you eat.

As a Christian believer, I understood that God was so very concerned about my physical health as much as He is concerned about my spiritual health.

“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers.” 3 John‬ ‭1:2‬ ‭(AMPC‬‬)

As moms, we naturally have choices over what our family eats. So why not make them healthy and profitable choices? Don’t be pressured by the dictates of anyone. Not everyone will agree with your choices but so far as it pleases the Lord, that is the utmost. It is to the glory of God that we eat what will not harm us.

“So eat your meals heartily, not worrying about what others say about you—you’re eating to God’s glory, after all, not to please them. As a matter of fact, do everything that way, heartily and freely to God’s glory.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭10:31,32 (MSG‬‬)

I was challenged by well meaning people about my choices especially on the day that my little one was given a popsicle and was asked to take it and I collected it and kept it.

Now this post wasn’t about food, but I digressed. And I hope you got something from it anyway. Now what are these rules you may ask? They could be as simple as: Going to bed early, Eating at a particular time, Having your bath before going to bed, Laying your bed immediately you get up, No self medication, No bathing my new born child with palm oil, No turning my child upside down and so on. As moms, our rules vary and it is okay for me not to agree with your choices just as you don’t mine. It doesn’t make us less of moms, it just simply makes us different and unique. We don’t have to enforce it on anyone. What works for Home A may not work for Home B and some may work for Home C.

So beautiful mom, whatever your rules are, or whatever choices you have made regarding your family; so far as it pleases the Lord, brings all the glory to HIM, you are doing just fine.

From one mom to another with all the love that abounds and avails in Jesus Christ.

God bless you and stay beautiful.

When tempted/tried by another Christian believer.

Hello beautiful.

It’s been a long time I posted here.

Sometime ago I posted on my Instagram account that “One of the true tests of a Christian believer’s faith is when he/she is ‘tried’ by another Christian believer.” I said I was going to do a video but after several recordings and ending up deleting them for reasons I don’t even know, (hehehe) I have decided to write about it instead. (What I do best.)

I can’t exactly picture what I was doing before this quote came about but I remember something that happened many years ago.

For those who know me, I can write in several fonts and calligraphy was one I always did on certificates and this hobby earned me some money as a student. Now I had this youth leader who wanted my services and I obliged him and did about 500 or more certificates. I can’t remember exactly how much he was to pay but I remember clearly he was to pay a balance of NGN 4,000.00. I began to disturb him for my money and in a bid not to pay me, he went online and downloaded some pictures of me in yellow and brown braids. Those braids I remember so well as I did it during one of those crazy days at school. Now he printed those pictures and brought them to my house to show my parents and you can imagine what happened after that. (Now I laugh so hard when I remember it) Anyways, he used that to avoid paying me till today. I remember seeing him every time in church and just feeling so hurt and angry. Even though my dad later got to know why he did what he did and was so disappointed, I never confronted him.

Even though my relationship then with God wasn’t as it is now, I was one that was very open and honest to God. I always told him exactly how I feel. So I told God to judge him. While I don’t know what has become of him today as we soon left that community back then, I bless God that I am not where I was.

I know that some of you reading this must have gone through an ordeal like this or know someone who has. How were you able to come through? Scriptures encourages us in 1 Corinthians 6:1-8 not to take our fellow brother or sister to court. So what do we do in such a case?

Many a times, taking it to the church to settle, only leads to even more grievances as sometime, the offender is justified for his wrong doing and then it looks as though he/she was right to have done such ungodly acts. While I always wonder how I was able to come through it, I can only attribute it to the help of the Holy Spirit. I cannot promise you that you will not be tempted in even bigger ways by fellow Christians – people who shouldn’t tempt you in the first place; but I can say that you must allow the Holy Spirit to help you get through the pain and hurt. Let me remind you of this, there are consequences for every action. So don’t think, they are getting away with it. There are consequences awaiting.

As you go about this beautiful life, you must remember that the Bible tells us in Matthew 6:34b (AMPC) “Sufficient for each day is its own trouble.” Now the troubles weren’t specifically defined to come from unbelievers and other things so we must be aware that some of these troubles can come from even Christian believers we know.

Therefore, as you wake up each day, ask for the grace of God and the help of the Holy Spirit to overcome every form of temptation, even the ones that comes from fellow believers.

I sincerely pray that you are not quick to shame these ‘believers’ publicly but to seek a common ground with them and when such can’t be achieved leave such a one to the judgement of the one true judge – GOD.

God bless you and stay beautiful!

5 Things to know as a CHRISTIAN employee.

Hello Beautiful and welcome to yet another read from me. While I was tempted to share with you from my personal experience, I decided that I would share that of my former colleague which I had drafted for quite a while now.

At my former place of work, I had a colleague who was a “returnee.” I remember like yesterday, the day my other former colleagues were discussing about someone coming back to join us. Now I didn’t know this person but one thing I kept telling myself was that this person must have had a very very good relationship with the bosses to get this type of rare opportunity.

Well, long story short, this return colleague became my desk mate for the remaining years I worked there. And lest I forget, even though she was very much older than me, I was moved by her humility.

Now, some of us have been employees or are employees and while this post isn’t a rule, I hope you can learn one or two things as a christian employee and work on yourself to be that employee that your company would never want to lose.

  1. THERE IS THE GOLDEN RULE. As an employee, ensure to work for your employer as though you have a share in it. Just as you would want your employees to behave in your own company, so also you should where you are currently serving as one. Let your attitude towards working for someone be what you can take from someone working for you.
“So then, in everything treat others the same way you want them to treat you, for this is [the essence of] the Law and the [writings of the] Prophets.” (Matthew 7:12 AMP)

  2. RESPECT OTHERS ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO LEAD. Respect they say is reciprocal. Oh yes, it sure is and much more, it doesn’t just come, you have to earn it. Age is but a number when you are within the workplace and as a christian, it speaks so much about you and your moral beliefs when your boss is younger and you have to take instructions from him/her. How about working with a disrespectful boss? Respecting your disrespectful boss as a christian employee gives such a boss many a times a “soul searching” message.
“Whoever is a slave (employee) must make the best of it, giving respect to his master (employer) so that outsiders don’t blame God and our teaching for his behavior.” (1 Timothy 6:1 MSG)

  3. HAVE A PRINCIPLE OF HONESTY. This comes after respect for a reason. Like in the case of my former colleague, she was away in another state where the company needed to supervise a project, and based on the trust she had built over the years, she was called to do it. Now a disrespectful employee most often than naught is not trusted to be honest in his/her dealings even if they are. So also we have respectful people who are dishonest. How is your behavior towards your work? Can you be seen as a honest employee? Can your employer or team lead trust you with delicate matters of their businesses? Do you do just like everybody does to avoid being the one they tag?
God cares about honesty in the workplace; your business is his business.” (Proverbs 16:11 MSG)
“For all God’s words are right, and everything he does is worthy of our trust.” (Psalm 3:4 TLB)

  4. GROW GREAT INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS. Now, relocation happened again and she came back to the state she left some years ago and despite the fact that the company wasn’t employing at the time, they had to make room for her. She came back and she was employed. For some other people, when they leave a place they light a fire to erase every trace of their existence there either through words or action, directly or indirectly. This shouldn’t be so. You never know when you will need help. As Christian employees, ensure that you maintain a great interpersonal relationship with every one at work – believers and unbelievers.
“If someone mistreats you because you are a Christian, don’t curse him; pray that God will bless him. When others are happy, be happy with them. If they are sad, share their sorrow. Work happily together. Don’t try to act big. Don’t try to get into the good graces of important people, but enjoy the company of ordinary folks. And don’t think you know it all! Never pay back evil for evil. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honest clear through. Don’t quarrel with anyone. Be at peace with everyone, just as much as possible.” (Romans 12:14-18 TLB)
  5. LEAVE THE “LEARNING DOORS” OPEN. Despite the fact that she was one of the staff the company employed at its inception, when she came back, she treated us who were younger with so much respect and was so humble. She didn’t build a wall of “I am older than you or I was here before you came” around her. Instead she left the door open. She was ready to learn. I remember her been on my neck to learn a particular software. As christian employees, do you feel you are above learning simply because the boss or team lead seems to be new or probably younger and obviously know much more than you? You see humility isn’t something anyone is born with, its a virtue, you covet and work daily towards maintaining. Be open to learn from other colleagues or leaders who are better than you.
He shows those who are humble how to do right, and he teaches them his ways.” (Psalm 25:9 NCV)
Pride leads only to shame; it is wise to be humble.” (Proverbs 11:2 NCV)

“Servants (employees), respectfully obey your earthly masters (employers) but always with an eye to obeying the real master, Christ. Don’t just do what you have to do to get by, but work heartily, as Christ’s servants doing what God wants you to do. And work with a smile on your face, always keeping in mind that no matter who happens to be giving the orders, you’re really serving God. Good work will get you good pay from the Master, regardless of whether you are slave (employee) or free (partner).” (Ephesians 6:5-8 MSG)

My sincere prayer is that as many who desire to become employers would grow to become one every employee wants to work with if Christ tarries, in Jesus Name. Amen!!!.

Caesarean Section Birth Awareness 2019

Hi Beautiful, it’s the time of the year when we create an awareness on the caesarean section method of birth. While we have been aggressively campaigning on social media, it is important that we understand why.

The misconstrued interpretation of the vaginal birth being the “Hebrew Woman” kind of Birth has kept so many in the dark that they would go to any length to hold on to this understanding which has caused many, loss of life. While many always refer to the story of the Hebrew midwives’ report to Pharaoh – regarding the birth of the male children who they were instructed to kill – as the basis for this so called “biblical method of birth,” what they forget to mention is that it’s because these midwives feared God that they gave that report. I want to believe that this was just following God’s master plan to have the Israelite freed from Egypt. Feel free to read it in Exodus 1:6-22

Now another scripture which we must understand is that which is in Isaiah 11. I encourage you to read up all the verses but I will emphasize on verse 9,10

“They shall not hurt or destroy in all My holy mountain, for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. And it shall be in that day that the Root of Jesse shall stand as a signal for the peoples; of Him shall the nations inquire and seek knowledge, and His dwelling shall be glory [His rest glorious]!” Isaiah‬ ‭11:9-10‬ ‭(AMPC‬‬)

Now, there is nothing that has happened or is happening, no advancement in science profitable to man (especially His children) that didn’t come from the KNOWLEDGE of God. The knowledge bank of God is inexhaustible and will always be searched out by man because He said in Matthew 7:7,8 (NCV) ““Ask, and God will give to you. Search, and you will find. Knock, and the door will open for you. Yes, everyone who asks will receive. Everyone who searches will find. And everyone who knocks will have the door opened.” The scriptures is explicitly silent of what method of child birth is “saintly” and what type is “sinful.” All we know of is the description of pregnancy and child birth when God called out the consequences of Adam and Eve’s disobedience in the garden as recorded in Genesis 3:16a (NLT)Then he said to the woman, “I will sharpen the pain of your pregnancy, and in pain you will give birth.” However in 1 Timothy 2:15 (AMP) But women will be preserved (saved) through [the pain and dangers of] the bearing of children if they continue in faith and love and holiness with self-control and discretion.” Here, we see the conclusion of the matter.

““A woman does not give birth before she feels the pain; she does not give birth to a son before the pain starts. No one has ever heard of that happening; no one has ever seen that happen. In the same way no one ever saw a country begin in one day; no one has ever heard of a new nation beginning in one moment. But Jerusalem will give birth to her children just as soon as she feels the birth pains. In the same way I will not cause pain without allowing something new to be born,” says the LORD. “If I cause you the pain, I will not stop you from giving birth to your new nation,” says your God.” Isaiah 66:7-9 (NCV)

The verses above can be likened to a vision come to pass. If we want to go by literal understanding, I will ask this. What method of birth is it that happens before the labor pain begins? While you answer that in your heart, I need you to understand the later words that, “God will not bring you to the point of delivery or allow you experience pain and you won’t give birth to something new.” (The topic is too broad to cover in one post but I pray you find understanding.)

Medical knowledge on the method of birthing is ONE only God can give. One beautiful thing about God is that He is not partial with it. Just like the rain doesn’t find out only the good people to fall on but falls on everyone, so also the “KNOWLEDGE” of God is not limited to just you. Those who search for it will find it. Believers or not.

“Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unfathomable (inscrutable, unsearchable) are His judgments (His decisions)! And how untraceable (mysterious, undiscoverable) are His ways (His methods, His paths)! For who has known the mind of the Lord and who has understood His thoughts, or who has [ever] been His counselor? Or who has first given God anything that he might be paid back or that he could claim a recompense? For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. [For all things originate with Him and come from Him; all things live through Him, and all things center in and tend to consummate and to end in Him.] To Him be glory forever! Amen (so be it).” Romans 11:33-36 (AMPC)

So before you conclude or accept the verdict that C-Section is a sin, remember that the know how is from God.

It is to the glory of God alone that we make this awareness. The plan of God is not to have children motherless and mothers childless at childbirth. If you trusted Him to bring you to term, trust Him for the best birthing option.

“For by me [Wisdom from God] your days shall be multiplied, and the years of your life shall be increased.” Proverbs‬ ‭9:11‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

God bless you and remain beautiful.

3 Ways to stay ”BEAUTIFUL” in 2019

This is my first post here this year. Hence, I am allowed to say a happy new year to you all my beautiful people.

This year, I have been up to reading books, engaging with the Word and God, spending time with my family and getting more education. While I am at this, I intend by God’s grace to be faithful in this ministry of christian writing; whether its here on my blog or on my other social media platform. So feel free to follow me there too.

Now back to the purpose of this post. One word for 2019 in Beautiful Life Corner is from one of the easiest to recite verses of the scripture. As easy as it is to recite, following through on it is something some of us are guilty of. But before I proceed, do you know that every thing we need to know is in scriptures? I mean every single thing. There is indeed nothing new under the sun.

Matthew 7:7 NLT ““Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.”

The New Century Version puts it thus: ““Ask, and God will give to you. Search, and you will find. Knock, and the door will open for you.”

  1. ASK. This is an action that can save us many a times but sometimes, we just don’t use it.
    When in doubt, ask questions.
When you hear something you least expect, ask for clarity.
When you need directions, ask someone.
When you need help, ask for it.
There is a lot that we can achieve when we just learn to ask. There are places we would easily get to just by asking. There are relationships we would preserve just by asking. Asking for clarity when in doubt helps to avoid running into unnecessary and unfavorable conclusions. Asking the right questions would bring the exact answers we need. Asking and not assuming that someone knows will answer so many questions and requests you have.
Now sometimes, you may ask once and it is not done. Scriptures says continue asking. When my daughter asks me a question, if I don’t answer, she continues to ask me, following me around that I just have to answer. I am not saying weary someone with your questions, I am saying don’t say because you asked once, you wouldn’t ask again.
  2. SEARCH. Have you noticed that people no longer want to search for things? They just want to be handed things. I am a meticulous person who love to organize things to avoid looking for them. While living alone, this was possible but with people especially little humans, not possible at all. Now I have to search if I must find. Very funny right? Yeah and very true.
Searching for things can be stressful and time consuming but many a times, searching brings about discoveries. If gold was not sought out or diamonds or even petroleum, would they be found? Absolutely no!
For anyone who want to pursue the beautiful life and succeed at it, he/she must be willing to search. And just before we run on to the last thing, did you notice that Asking comes before Searching? I believe this is intentional. Why? When you ask, you know where exactly to search.
From my experience, asking my little ones where they last kept or saw an item of theirs we are looking for, has made the search area defined and the finding process shorter.
  3. KNOCK. Doors come in different forms and sizes. We have the automatic sliding doors, these ones open of their own accord and any tom, dick and harry can go in. There also are doors which are secured and you have to either ring a bell, call the occupant or knock on with your hand or something. These doors don’t just open to anyone.
Let’s see this example, you go to a house that has a security door and just stand there, it will not open for you if you do not knock either by using the bell or your hand or calling out for the door to be opened. When you need access to something behind a closed door, you knock.
There are doors of opportunity that many of us see everyday and we keep waiting for them to open on their own to us. Unfortunately we have missed these doors just because we didn’t knock on them. Some of these doors were that of business, friendship, relationships, and many others.
Well, the good news or rather, the great news is that, its never late as long as there is life. This year, knock on as many doors of opportunity, God bring your way – Emphasis on God.

In conclusion, you will need to Ask to be able to Search for the doors to Knock on. Take charge and be sure to ASK in 2019 and beyond.
